After the war, the building evolved into high-end accommodations while preserving its historic charm. The aim of the redesign was to combine timeless Mediterranean elegance with modern sophistication, inspired by the region’s renowned hotels and beach clubs, like the Maybourne Riviera.
The color scheme draws inspiration from the stunning sea views, blending calming neutrals with natural wood textures and pops of azure and deep blue. These tones create a tranquil atmosphere that reflects the surrounding Mediterranean beauty.
Key elements of the design include Canaletto wood with a white oak finish featured throughout the space. Strong lines and natural textures define the kitchen and bar areas, with sand-colored countertops that evoke the nearby beaches and enhance the Mediterranean theme.
The dining area is designed to be both functional and stylish, acting as a social hub for everyday meals and special occasions. The table’s finish aligns with the kitchen, and the dining chairs mirror the countertop hues, creating a cohesive and welcoming environment.
