The form and aesthetics of "Stairs" candle holder, come from the the aiesthetics and architecture of Cyclades. Wall-mounted stairs, as shown on pictures below, are used on cycladic houses so as to facilitate its residents while painting their houses. These wall-mounted stairs were the core element that guided final form for of this object.
During the design process a ceramic prototype was created, as clay is the the material of "stairs".
