This utensil can be used  to sprinkle salt and paper to food. It is designed especially for "Gastronomy Days  2014" so as to express Cycladic  diet  and gastronomy as an "art de la table" object.
 
Its form and aesthetics derive from  the simplicity of  traditional Cycladic architecture, but also from the traditional Cycladic chimneys.  The contrast between the white vitrificated white colored clay and the rough black colored clay, symbolizes the contrast between the white colored Cycladic buildings and the rocky and infertile Cycladic land.
 
A ceramic protype was created with the help and guidance of the ceramimist Sofia Trigoni
