Date: 2014

This utensil can be used to sprinkle salt and paper to food. It is designed especially for “Gastronomy Days 2014” so as to express Cycladic diet and gastronomy as an “art de la table” object.
Its form and aesthetics derive from the simplicity of traditional Cycladic architecture, but also from the traditional Cycladic chimneys. The contrast between the white vitrificated white colored clay and the rough black colored clay, symbolizes the contrast between the white colored Cycladic buildings and the rocky and infertile Cycladic land.
